The Lucky Guy Book by Shreyansh Ojha

You fall in love with the girl of your dreams, the girl loves you back, and problem solved, right?. Wrong. So lets start a short introduction of a person because whole book revolves around him i.e. Padmanabh Pandey.

The Lucky Guy Book by Shreyansh Ojha

https://www.amazon.in/dp/8194922941/

For eighteen-year-old star athlete, Padmanabh Pandey, growing up has been a breeze. He has a closely-knit circle of friends that he trusts with his life, a girl he likes (who, he's certain, likes him back), and a penchant for looking at the sunny side of life.

When his world comes crashing down and the only girl he's ever loved decides she's in love with someone else, Padmanabh has no choice but to make a clean break and hope with all his heart he can start fresh.

Little does he know that college is going to be a wilder ride than he could have ever anticipated. As our blundering, headstrong, loveable hero flits his way from one mistake to another, one thing becomes clear to him: Life is what you make of it and pain can be transformational.

Heartbreak, friendship, loyalty, love, and unshakeable family ties are the ingredients of this awe-inspiring story. And what's more—every character in the book could well be you and me.

In a book that holds a mirror to modern-day Indian society, yet steeped in age-old tradition, Shreyansh Ojha's debut novel promises the story of a lifetime that is guaranteed to keep you turning the pages.

Comments:
Funny, light as a feather, and sublime - go ahead and read this piece of art right now! A promise from my side - the beautifully woven message conveyed would give you strength facing the ebbs and flows of life, as you ride along with the characters in their own journey through the vagaries of life.

An effortlessly fluid read, the audience would find themselves living vicariously through the eyes of brilliantly crafted characters. Shreyansh in his debut novel itself has managed to capture the essence of relationships, be it the spicy love story between Tina and Padmanabh, the friendship of Padmanabh and Bakul, or the father-son dynamics of our lead character.

Go for it. Show him your love.

My Quarantine Routine

When i think about my yesterday now, my minds calculates the things i did - very fast, not because i am intelligent enough😜 but they are very less in numbers. My whole day almost went on the bed and thanks to my f*cked up routine during pandemic, i have completely forgotten about the morning.

It been four months now when i last wore my jeans, when i last went out to have fun with my friends, when i last met from my Gf. Thanks to the IT sector i still have job thats why i can spend my whole day easily otherwise i do not know what would i do within these four months.

Mainly i woke up at 11:00 AM , maybe 12:00 PM, then i spent my next two hours roaming in home around here and there and have some tea, use the washroom. In starting of my 4 months, i was fully active and motivated that i would use these holidays and do something productive out of it, and then what happened i am still at the same stage here, where i was before. Then eat my lunch and watch some web series and then i sit for my office work till midnight. then again i watch some web series and play call of duty sometimes and went to Sleep. thats how my day completed itself.
Eat
Work
Game
Sleep
Repeat
So basically in 24hrs, for 21hrs i sit and sleep on the same bed. This bed becomes part of my life now and takes the place of my GF, my friends, and my office.

But after all this if i take a look closer to it, then i think i am living the life which i think i will never get. I am living with my parents day and night from last four months, usually we spent our days in schools colleges, then office. We dont get much time to spend with them,.

Secondly who knows we are all part of history now, maybe in future children read about this time , about us , about this pandemic, about this corona virus, about this world's biggest lockdown in their books, who knows some of you are creating something so that your names will also appear in their books.

Do not lose Hope, this time surely go away and leave us a memory to remember.

Corona Virus

A corona virus is a kind of common virus that causes an infection in your nose, sinuses, or upper throat.
Corona-viruses are a large family of viruses that are known to cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases. A corona virus (COVID-19) was identified in 2019 in Wuhan, China. This is a new corona virus that has not been previously identified in humans.

Illness caused by SARS-CoV-2 was termed COVID-19 by the WHO, the acronym derived from "corona virus disease 2019".

Lets look at the Symptoms of COVID-19. The main symptoms include:
  • Fever
  • Coughing
  • Shortness of breath
  • Trouble breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Chills, sometimes with shaking
  • Body aches
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Loss of smell or taste
  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
If you’re infected, symptoms can show up in 2 days or as many as 14. It varies from person to person. According to researchers in China, these were the most common symptoms among people who had COVID-19:

Fever 99%, Fatigue 70%, Cough 59% , Lack of appetite 40%, Body aches 35%, Shortness of breath 31%, Mucus/phlegm 27%.

CoronaVirus

How does the corona virus spread?

As of now, researchers know that the new corona virus is spread through droplets released into the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The droplets generally do not travel more than a few feet, and they fall to the ground (or onto surfaces) in a few seconds — this is why social and physical distancing is effective in preventing the spread.

A study shows that SARS-CoV-2 can last for several hours on various types of surfaces:
Copper: 4 hours
Cardboard: up to 24 hours
Plastic or stainless steel: 2 to 3 days

That’s why it is very important to sanitize disinfect surfaces to get rid of the virus.

What is community spread?

We called it community spread when someone gets the virus even though they haven’t been out of the country or haven’t been exposed to someone who’s traveled abroad or who has COVID-19.
It’s likely that person was exposed to someone who was infected but didn’t know it.

Corona virus Prevention

Follow the Steps:
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for 2 minutes at least or clean them with an alcohol-based sanitizer. This kills viruses on your hands.
  • Practice social distancing. Because you can take and spread the virus without knowing it, you should stay home as much as possible. If you do have to go out, stay at least 6 feet away from others.
  • Cover your nose and mouth in public: If you have COVID-19, you can spread it even if you don’t feel sick. Wear a cloth face covering to protect others. This isn’t a replacement for social distancing. You still need to keep a 6-foot distance between yourself and those around you. Don’t use a face mask meant for health care workers. Don’t touch your face. Corona viruses can live on surfaces you touch for several hours. If they get on your hands and you touch your eyes, nose, or mouth, they can get into your body.
  • Clean and disinfect. You can clean first with soap and water, but disinfect surfaces you touch often, like tables, doorknobs, light switches, toilets, faucets, and sinks. Wear gloves when you clean and throw them away when you’re done.

How can you help stop the spread of the corona virus?

Now Government, is easing restrictions and allowing businesses to reopen. This doesn’t mean the virus is gone. Continue to follow safety practices such as wearing a cloth face mask in public places. Because the virus spreads from person to person, it’s important to limit your contact with other people as much as possible. Some people work in “essential businesses” that are vital to daily life, such as health care, law enforcement, and public utilities. Everyone else should stay home as much as you can and wear a cloth face mask when you can’t. You might hear officials use these terms when they talk about staying home:

Social distancing or physical distancing, keeping space between yourself and other people when you have to go out.

Quarantine, keeping someone home and separated from other people if they might have been exposed to the virus.

Isolation, keeping sick people away from healthy people, including using a separate “sick” bedroom and bathroom when possible

Story Of Jazlyn

I was all alone. There was no one in my life with whom I could share my feelings or my thoughts. Whole day I spent at office, tired and frustrated, when i returned to my home, I just felt so lonely because my thoughts just sounded so hard in my mind but I had no way to let them come out and and share with someone.

Sharing is one of the best thing in the world. Great satisfaction comes from share your feelings and thoughts with someone who is really willing to listen to them and understand them. But the fact is many do not have anyone in their life who is really willing to listen to them. And then we end up with frustration and loneliness. I am also one of them who has no one to share my feelings with.

One day I found a blog named "Chirkut Blog"while surfing on internet. The name attracted me towards itself as it was very different from the rest. Here, I found an option of Guest Blogging, where I came to know that I can write anything I want and people who would love to read it will do it and will be able to share their views with me via the blog. This made me very happy as I found Chirkut Blog as a friend where I could write anything and everything I felt and there was no one who would avoid me and will make me feel bad and hurt.

Great satisfaction was felt by sharing my thoughts at the blog. Sharing is caring and I felt that by sharing my thoughts, I am caring for myself and learning to love myself. If its meant to be this way, then it will happen this way only. I have started giving words to my thoughts and writing it down on Chirkut Blog where people that I don't know read it and get to know that there is some girl named Jazlyn who exists on this Earth and thinks like this. I am never gonna meet those readers, but some how there is a connection between us by our thoughts. Each time they would read what i would share, an image of mine will be created in their minds and that;s how we will get connected with each other.

If we cannot do great things, then we should try to do small things in great ways, and the same I am trying to do.
