All around, there are strange and mysterious sounds,

It seems that only the strong blowing winds are around.

As the cold winter winds blows,

The night chills out and is covered with snow.

The stars are freezing in the sky so high,

Sometimes it seems they are even far from my sigh.

As the snow blows against the house,

I had myself in my warm blanket as if I am a small mouse.

Still I love winter wonderland,

I sit down at my window with a cup of hot chai in between my hands.

I love to see all the things covered with snow,

It makes my mind and heart to blow.

I like to see a white carpet on the ground,

Where the deer tracks are abound.

Watching the full moon rise above the horizon,

I like to feel the stillness of the snow sand,

All I love is this WINTER WONDERLAND.

U for Unseen Reality

There's a fine line between existence and reality,

Is that our hope? To live long, without things going horribly wrong,
Or is it the goal? To do all things right, but only under the public light,

Things that go unseen are seldom rewarded with esteem,
Does it effects member of the society, who have forgotten such things as piety?

Will we simply become fossils? Yes, if we simply remain docile,
Or will we work to correct our wrongs?If so, we will survive the changing nature songs.

Let us retrieve what once was there,
a world with us in touch with the natural lair.

A world in which we did not try to dominate,
but one in which we did peacefully cohabitate.

I say to you my friends let us change our ways,
Let us sing again the songs of a forgotten yesterday,
Songs that put the bear, the bird, and main in the same realm,
The realm of equity, and only then we shall find ourselves back in reality.

T for Trust

Trust is like rain,
It has both love as well as pain.
Trust is like walking with your eyes closed,
Its a way to lose those whom you hold very close.
Trust is a word of only 5 letters,
But these 5 letters is all what matters.
Trust is the call of your inner voice,
But sometimes you have to blindly trust, you have no choice.
Betrayal is the enemy of Trust,
It wins when a person is full of lust.
Hold, breathe and have Trust,
This is what we hear whenever we get rust.
Well, it takes years to build trust,
And few seconds to turn it into dust.

S for Sleepless Nights

From the last few days,
I am having immense pain.
The pain has surrounded my brain,
All I get is gigantic vain.
It was too hard to hold and keep,
I was trying so hard... to sleep.
I am crumbling under the weight of the sun,
But I am afraid to feel the cold again.
The nights are now too long to pass,
My eyes remain open as if they are looking for the mars.
The stars, the moon and the darkness,
Are the only ones to know my sadness.
Trying to stop my mind and take a buffering,
From the countless load of over-thinking.
But at the end,
My sleepless nights are enough to prove my suffering.

R for Random Rimplings

We all have some friendships which are half-neglected. We think that we will always stay connected, but in reality we sometimes stay connected and sometimes disconnected, through space and time.

Facing the wild storms, the harsh reality, the friendship remains deserted, trying to spread its roots in any directions possible without thinking whether it will fade, bloom or nourish.

And then come those relations that fade away because they are put to the test, leaving us helpless and thinking that was it something that we ourselves put into deep well. Its like everything comes to us before its "expiry date" that is to be "enjoyed till it lasts".

The truth is that the world has no time to cry with us when we are feeling sad. But what about the world that we have created for ourselves. What about those few species that surround our world and give us the small believe of a happily ever word. Is is just a creation of our imagination that is meant to smash someday?

Then comes a thought, aren't we being selfish. Selfish by expecting that our friends always stick to us and never leave us. Aren't we being selfish by allowing ourselves to cry alone because they have other important things to cry about. We are being selfish so why are we complaining all the time?

Perhaps, selfishness is worthiness, really!

Perhaps, we should not expect...
Perhaps, we should not complain...
Or maybe, a close friend of mine told me that I think too much...

But then again, old habits die hard, don't they??

M for Merry Christmas

Christmas is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon. For two millennia, people around the world have been observing it with traditions and practices that are both religious and secular in nature. Christians celebrate Christmas Day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader whose teachings form the basis of their religion. Popular customs include exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas trees, attending church, sharing meals with family and friends and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive. December 25–Christmas Day–has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1870.

The middle of winter has long been a time of celebration around the world. Centuries before the arrival of the man called Jesus, early Europeans celebrated light and birth in the darkest days of winter. Many peoples rejoiced during the winter solstice, when the worst of the winter was behind them and they could look forward to longer days and extended hours of sunlight.

No one knows the real birthday of Jesus! No date is given in the Bible, so why do we celebrate it on the 25th December? The early Christians certainly had many arguments as to when it should be celebrated! Also, the birth of Jesus probably didn't happen in the year 1 but slightly earlier, somewhere between 2 BCE/BC and 7 BCE/BC, possibly in 4 BCE/BC (there isn't a 0 - the years go from 1 BC/BCE to 1!).

The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on December 25th was in 336, during the time of the Roman Emperor Constantine (he was the first Christian Roman Emperor). A few years later, Pope Julius I officially declared that the birth of Jesus would be celebrated on the 25th December.

Christmas is associated with the coming of Santa Claus. Children are always excited and wait eagerly. They are always in a mood that Santa will come and shower them with all their wishes and lots of gifts. Santa is an old fatty man with long white cottony beard and is very chubby chubby. He wears a beautiful red suit that attracts children towards him. He coms riding a horny animal. Santa Claus is said to make lists of children throughout the world, categorizing them according to their behavior ("good" and "bad", or "naughty" and "nice") and to deliver presents, including toys, and candy to all of the well-behaved children in the world, and coal to all the misbehaved children, on the single night of Christmas Eve.

Christmas is the most awaited festival and is celebrated with much joy and excitement in American and European countries. They have a week extended celebration of the festival in which they enlighten their house and the entire city and country with beautiful lights and hangings. 

Also around this time, English author Charles Dickens created the classic holiday tale, A Christmas Carol. The story’s message-the importance of charity and good will towards all humankind-struck a powerful chord in the United States and England and showed members of Victorian society the benefits of celebrating the holiday.

Who am I?

We all are just faking ourselves in front of others

We all are fighting with our-self to "know oneself"

Some get to know them-self at very early stage of their life

Some could not know themselves in their entire life
